Invention herewith described refers to the method and device for measuring the velocity of pulse-wave propagation in the coronary arteries by simultaneous measurements of arterial blood pressure and intracardiac electrical potentials. The method comprises the following steps: positioning the probe (7) for recording the signal (5) of the myocardium electrical potential into the right ventricle of the heart, the successive positioning of the probe (3) for measuring signals (2) of the pressure which is located on the distal end of the guide wire (4) into at least two regions of interest, the distal (12) and proximal (13) in the specific artery (1), the reading of the values of electric potentials of the myocardium from the probe (7) and the arterial pressure from the probe (3) with the device (6) with a high frequency sampling of signals and the analysis of the recorded data by using the device (17) and by procedures which allow the determination of the pulse wave propagation time between the distal (12) and the proximal (13) positions, and on the basis of their distance (14) facilitate the calculation of the pulse wave propagation velocity.
