An adaptive profile blade for an axial flow rotor, wherein the leading base at the rotor nose has a cylindrical-hemispherical shape, and the longitudinal profile of the blade is a semi-arched catenary and extends, on the intrados side, according to a coplanar curve to the blade itself, while on the extrados side, at 3/4 of extension of the blade towards the tip, it is characterised by the presence of a "V"-shaped undulation which exits from the blade plane towards the intrados, between 20° and 30°, with subsequent re-entry towards the extrados, and extends towards the intrados on a surface equal to 1/4-1/5 of the blade width.
