Armor harness for supporting at least one stage fixture by a scenic artist, comprising: - a backrest (21) adapted to support the stage fixture and to abut against the back of the artist; and - elements forming braces (22, 23), adapted to allow positioning and / or fastening the harness over shoulders of the artist; - being the support and the elements forming the rigid braces; and - forming elements being coupled to the support straps by elastic coupling elements (24); characterized in that the support comprises a front plate (26) and a parallel rigid backplate (25), substantially vertical and each other that are held apart rigidly together at the height of at least a portion of their facing surfaces; and that the back plate (25) comprises, in its upper part, a first part (71) folded horizontally towards the front plate, and extended by a second part (72) folded vertically upwards, resting against the front plate and is fixed to said plate.
