A multi-media method and system performs psychological assessment of anindividual (81) for suitability for particular jobs, whereby the individual isshown and provided with discrete visual and auditory stimuli on a multi-mediacomputer screen, so that the individual's responses can be monitored inconjunction with physiological responses received by biofeedback sensors. Thecomputer tallies the test subject's recorded responses. Virtual workenvironments are optionally displayed, to enable the tested individual tosimulate a real work environment. Unlike other job evaluation systems, thesystem evaluates a job candidate's ability to maintain task focus underpressure. It directly measures performance under pressure (80), rather thanonly inferring potential performance based upon selective input from a jobcandidate.
