The present invention concerns a masonry wallsystem consisting of a plurality of panels and artificial masonryunits. The panels are provided with channels sized to receive theartificial masonry units and delimited by protruding ribs. The pro-trudingribs have a predetermined width w and also have notchesuniformly spaced along the ribs. The artificial masonry units haveprotuberances devised and positioned on the masonry units to befitted in the notches of the protruding ribs so that the masonryunits are equally spaced-apart from each other by a predeterminedgap (g).
