USE OF ANNEXIN A1, REGUL AND IGZ TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A VACCINE IN PHENOTYPE SUSCEPTIBLE TO INFECTIOUS SALMON ANEMIA (ISA) IN ATLANTIC SALMON (SALMO SALAR)
USE OF ANNEXIN A1, REGUL AND IGZ TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A VACCINE IN PHENOTYPE SUSCEPTIBLE TO INFECTIOUS SALMON ANEMIA (ISA) IN ATLANTIC SALMON (SALMO SALAR)
Using genes selected from the group consisting ofAnnexin Regul and IgZ which serve as predictors to determinethe effectiveness of vaccines in phenotypes susceptible toinfectious salmon anemia (ISA) in Atlantic salmon (Salmosalar), quantifying the expression profile these genes usingPCR analysis in real time, and where a sample with anexpression pattern to cohabitation defiance to ISA do notshow statistically significant difference when compared tothe pattern of expression of these genes in a control samplewithout defiance, is indicative of an effective vaccine forsusceptible to ISA phenotype, namely with a character thatshows as characteristic, a mortality greater than 50% for theISA virus and heritability of said character less than orequal to 0.34.
