Cosmetic compositions comprising calcium citrate and at least a N-acylated aminoalcohol according to formula (I). Use thereof on human skin to prevent dry skin and/or to help to maintain or improve moisture retention and/or to fight against the signs of skin ageing. The N-acylated aminoalcohol of formula (I) act as a ceramidase inhibitor. Combined effect of compound of formula (I) and calcium citrate on keratinocyte differentiation.
