The object of the present invention are proteins of the tail of Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteriophage KP32, obtained by the means of recombination, showing hydrolytic activity against bacterial polysaccharide capsules. The proteins of amino acid sequences designated SEQ ID NO. 1 - gp31 and SEQ ID NO. 2 - gp32 prevent the development and degrade biofilm formed by Klebsiella pneumoniae strains and show synergistic effect in fighting against biofilm formed by K. pneumoniae, E. cloacae and S. aureus strains.
