The present invention relates to a device for compacting bottles and packaging, substantially consisting in a stack of drawers (1) provided with a top horizontal plate (14) adapted to slide downwards in order to crush articles positioned on a lower surface (4), it being provided that said surface is provided with means (8) to convey crushed articles towards a through opening (5) from which said articles selectively fall into one of the drawers (3) provided in said stack of drawers (1).
