A method of optimizing a phase of a compliant mechanism according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: determining an initial pheromone value of each element in a design region; randomly generating an initial phase by using the initial pheromone value; calculating a target function through a finite element interpretation based on the initial phase; transferring an ant, which illustrates a structure element, based on an accumulated pheromone value according to a sensitivity number of the each element; updating the accumulated pheromone value by secreting a new pheromone to each corresponding element based on a current position of the transferred ant; and determining an optimal value for optimizing the phase by sequentially repeating the step of calculating the target function, the step of transferring the ant and the step of updating the accumulated pheromone value, until a conversion condition is satisfied.
