The present invention relates to a socket type corrugated steel pipe post for supporting a guardrail at a catch pit on a road which provides a reinforcing means to a guardrail supporting post installed at a catch pit on a road to minimize damages caused by vehicle collision, thereby enabling a crash barrier to efficiently display its original performance. According to the present invention, a post for supporting a guardrail at a catch pit on a road includes an inner steel pipe vertically installed at the catch pit on a road; an outer steel pipe vertically installed to embrace the inner corrugated steel pipe; a fixing reinforcement bar vertically installed between the inner steel pipe and the outer steel pipe to strengthen reinforcement force of the post; and reinforcement frames vertically installed to be apart in predetermined intervals on lower end portions of the inner steel pipe and the outer steel pipe, thereby providing a reinforcing means to a guardrail supporting post to minimize damages caused by vehicle collision in order to enable a crash barrier to efficiently display its original performance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
