摘要

The present invention relates to a method for generating a hash function, and an apparatus thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a first step of performing an exclusive or (XOR) of an output result of 256-bit at each round, and a constant K; a second step of calculating a result performed in the step 1 by a linear group rule; a third step of applying a non-linear and non-group rule according to the numbers of the round to 64-bit selected in 256-bit calculated in the step 2; a fourth step of 3-bit circulation left-side shifting a result of the step 3. According to the present invention, a safe and effective one-way hash function can be generated using cellular automata.
