The present invention relates to an intuitive English interpretation method utilizing a cognitive element and an apparatus for the same. The intuitive English interpretation method utilizing a cognitive element according to the present invention includes a step in which an English sentence is divided into one or more phrases or clauses according to a preposition, a verb, or a qualifier designated through a user key operation; a step in which the English sentence is interpreted differently according to a user swiping order, range, and direction with respect to the divided phrases or clauses; and a step in which a user is informed of a result of the interpretation.
