The present invention relates to a method for producing pyranocoumarin derivative using a bismuth catalyst. More specifically, the pyrano[3,2-c]coumarin derivative is produced by making a propargyl alcohol compound react with a 4-hydroxy coumarin compound in the presence of the bismuth triflate catalyst. According to the present invention, the method can redress drawback of the prior method that the yield is low because strong acid, generating the large amount of by product, is used. Moreover, the method includes simplified reaction steps. Therefore, the pyrano[3,2-c]coumarin derivative can be produced at a high yield by the method.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
