MULTIPLEX PCR PRIMERS TO SIMULTANEOUSLY DETECT THE CAUSAL BODY OF FUNGAL AND AMOEBIC KERATITIS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF

The present invention provides a primer set, a primer kit, and a detecting method of an inducing germ of keratitis using the same, wherein the primer set is capable of simultaneously detecting acanthamoeba sp. which causes amoebic keratitis, along with aspergillus sp., fusarium sp., and candida sp. which are major germs causing fungal keratitis from a corneal sraping of a patient with keratitis. While long hours are required for a diagnosis of the fungal keratitis and the amoebic keratitis so far, the present invention enables to quickly check if infected or not and simultaneously detect several germs as well as allowing a proper treatment in an early stage due to an accuracy of the diagnosis.
