The present invention relates to an edge heater for a hot-rolling equipment capable of preventing collision with transferred materials to be rolled. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the edge heater for the hot-rolling equipment is arranged in the hot-rolling equipment to roll materials to be rolled in a hot state to heat the edge part of the materials. The edge heater for the hot-rolling equipment comprises: a bogie installed around a part to which the materials are transferred to travel toward the materials; and an upper inductor protruding to vertically rotate on the upper area of the edge part of the materials transferred while being loaded on the bogie.
