According to embodiments of the present invention, a media access control method for a vehicular ad-hoc network, including a source vehicular node and a destination vehicular node which respectively include a directional antenna, comprises: a step in which the source vehicular node transmits a RDF message about the amount of data to be transmitted in a direction to the destination vehicular node in a valid communication range, and transmits a SDF message about the amount of data to be transmitted in the other direction in the valid communication range; a step of transmitting data in the direction of the destination vehicular node; and a step of, after the data transmission is completed, terminating communication for the destination vehicular node, if an ACK message is received from the destination vehicular node, wherein the directional antenna has a valid communication range corresponding to some directions related to an advancing direction of a vehicle.
