Disclosed is a method for playing content application-based picture book content for prenatal education for pregnant women in multicultural families. If a user selects a preferred language on a language selecting screen displayed in a screen display unit, a voice language environment is set in the selected language. Picture book content for prenatal education is provided in one among an interactive playback mode and a simple watching playback mode. If the interactive playback mode is selected, whenever the user does an action such as a touch or click on a specific object of a picture displayed on a screen, the position where the action is applied is recognized and a preset event is executed and played. If the simple watching playback mode is selected, the content for prenatal education is sequentially played in order of pages. In the interactive playback mode, the preset event is an event of presenting animation effects of a picture object if the position where the action is applied is on the picture object, and an event of reading out words in the language selected by the user if the position is on a words object. The method of the present invention may help prenatal education for pregnant women in multicultural families and also audiovisually help them to learn Korean by the medium of picture books.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
