The method of analysing cultural art paintings to check authenticity and integrity thereof comprises converting a colour image of the painting into an image light signal S, splitting the light signal into three basic colours in an RGB system with referencing to a coordinate grid in the form of pixels, when storing the light signal in an author data bank, performing matrix adaptive addition of components RS, GS and BS; performing analogue-to-digital conversion of each pixel of the colour-separated light signal RS GS BS in logic elements of a two-dimensional digital image and recording in a colour-separated matrix, determining spectral-brightness characteristics kRS, kGS, kBS ofeach pixel of the colour-separated light signal, analogue-to-digital conversion thereof into a series of digital data with referencing to the colour-separated matrix and storing in an author data bank, analysing authenticity and integrity of the painting by comparing the digital data of the painting being tested with stored digital data of the original painting and performing matrix adaptive addition of components when reproducing the image.;EFFECT: high accuracy of authenticating paintings.;5 cl, 15 dwg
