FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: on the second day following a botulinum toxin therapy, 10 electric muscle stimulation procedures by means of Ionoson Expert apparatus are conducted. The exposure represents amplitude modulated medium-frequency currents in the frequency range of 100-250 Hz and at carrier frequency 7 kHz, current intensity from 8 to 20 mA for 4-7 minutes. That is followed by exposing to KOTS medium-frequency currents at frequency 50 Hz, pulse length and pause 2:6 seconds respectively and carrier frequency 7 kHz for 4-7 minutes. The length of exposure to each current type makes 4 minutes at current intensity 8 mA for a child aged 2-6 years old, 5 minutes at current intensity 10 mA for a child aged 7-9 years old, 7 minutes at current intensity 20 mA for a child aged 10-15 years old.;EFFECT: method enables reducing the rate of complications presented by forming and progressing joint contractures.;1 ex
