FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: when applying an external fixation apparatus, two threaded rods are inserted into a proximal metaphysis of the femoral bone, perpendicularly to a long bone axis; one rod is inserted at the level I in the position 9, and the second one - at the level II in the position 11 and fixed in a proximal extreme outer locating support. A pin supported from an inner thigh at the level VIII from the position 3 to the position 9 and a threaded rod at the boundary of the levels VII and VIII in the passage position 8-9 at an angle of about 45° to the long femoral axis are inserted into the distal femoral metaphysis intra-articularly and fixed in a distal extreme outer locating support. A femoral diaphysis osteotomy is performed through a mini-incision from an outer thigh. The femoral fragments are displaced in relation to each other. After performing a distraction, the threaded rods are inserted one into each femoral fragment perpendicularly their long axis from the outer thigh; that ensures eliminating the femoral fragment dislocation with recovering the anatomical axis of the femoral bone, and they are fixed in their middle outer supports of an external fixation apparatus.;EFFECT: method enables forming the adequate graft.;6 cl, 13 dwg, 2 ex
