FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ethylene copolymer. Described is an ethylene copolymer for producing an injection moulding product. The ethylene copolymer is obtained by polymerising ethylene and a C3-C18 α-olefin comonomer. The ethylene copolymer is characterised by activation energy of 40 kJ/mol or higher and molecular weight distribution of 2.4 or higher. The ethylene copolymer satisfies the relationships between oscillating torque and phase angle in the section P≤168.8-97.4×t+32.2×t2-4.0×t3 and P≤204.3-157.7×t+58.0×t2-7.5×t3, where t is oscillating torque (mcN·m) and is in the range of 60 to 6000 mcN·m, P is phase angle (°).
