FABRICATION OF PRECISION ANTENNA REFLECTOR

FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering and can be used for production of complex parts of composites, particularly, precision stable-size articles of complex shape, for example, millimetre-band antenna reflectors. Proposed process comprises assembly of thin shell from plies of high-modulus fibres impregnated with thermosetting binder supported from rear side by stiffness ribs and their further moulding. Note here that moulding is executed separately for shell and stiffness ribs with partial polymerization of sibs support zones. Then, they are connected and heated to complete hardening of the binder.EFFECT: higher precision and stable sizes.2 dwg
