The method includes fermentation of Pichia pastoris DSMZ 70887 yeast in a culture medium containing a nitrogen source, different from a yeast extract or peptone, and a carbon source. The carbon sources used can be pure glycerine, pure methanol and glycerine- or methanol-rich mixtures.
