FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: regions involved into a pathological process are covered by a cryogenic-cryooxygen exposure in a predetermined sequence. First, the cryotherapy represents short-term applications for 0.3-1 s every 1-3 s at an average duration of 2-5 min per one field. The cryoexposure is conducted by means of a cryo swab impregnated with liquefied nitrogen, at a temperature of -196°C; the swab consists of a cotton plug wrapped with a gauze layer. The exposure continues until the patient experiences stable skin hyperaemia in the region of interest. Further, the regions hyperaemic after the cryotherapy are additionally exposed to liquefied oxygen sprayed under over-pressure, having a temperature of -183°C and providing the cryooxygenation effect, once for 0.5-2 s per one field.EFFECT: method provides the pronounced chondroprotective, osteoprotective, myoprotective and analgesic effect; it is easy to implement; it causes no side effects that also makes is widely applicable in the patients with severe combination and concomitant pathologies.5 cl, 5 ex
