The baffle (20) has a layer (21) of fibrous material and another layer (22) of fibrous material. A perforated plate (23) is interposed between the former layer of fibrous material and the latter layer of fibrous material. The perforated plate presents openings (24) through which the former layer of fibrous material and the latter layer of fibrous material come into contact with each other and are attached with each other by utilizing an adhesive fixing unit. The layers of fibrous material are entirely impregnated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an engine (2) a method for manufacturing a baffle.
