This detection device (35) makes it possible to detect the resetting of an electrical circuit breaker (10). The electrical circuit breaker (10) comprises a stationary contacts (12) and the mobile part (14), the moving contact (14) being able to move between an open position in which the stationary and movable contacts (12, 14) are separated and a closed position in which the moving contact (14) is in abutment against the fixed contact (12), a mechanism (16) separating the contacts (12, 14), a handle (18) of the resetting of the mechanism (16) of the open position to the closed position of the moving contact (14), and an actuator (20) of the mechanism for the separation (16), the actuator (20) comprising an electromagnetic coil and a core which is movable between a rest position and a working position in which the mechanism for the separation (16) is actuated, the coil being adapted to cause the displacement of the movable core in its rest position towards its working position. The detection device (35) comprises means for generating a signal indicating the reloading from an electric pulse, the electric pulse corresponding to an electric current induced in the coil by the displacement of the movable core in its working position to its rest position during the resetting of the circuit breaker.
