A robot hand (10) of a first robot (2) that handles an article (W) includes a baseplate (21); an attraction pad (22) that is disposed at the baseplate (21) and that is configured to hold the article (W); and first to third proximity sensors (24, 25, 26) that are disposed at the baseplate (21), each of the proximity sensors (24, 25, 26) being configured to detect whether or not the article (W) exists at a side of the attraction pad (22).
