PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion sensor such that precision of an edge of an output signal is improved.;SOLUTION: A motion sensor 102 includes an output protocol processor 118 so coupled as to receive a first signal 112a representing a motion of a body, a second signal 128a representing a motion of the body, and a vibration signal 116a representing a vibration of the body. An output protocol processor 118 is configured to generate a body movement output signal 118a having variable characteristics to change after an effective point of time. After the effective point of time, the body movement output signal 118a represents a moving speed of the body and a moving direction of the body. When the vibration signal 116a indicates vibration of the body during at least a predetermined number of cycles between the first and second signals 112a, 128a, the output protocol processor 118 determines that the effective point of time is an end of a fixed time period starting at the point of time of the vibration of the body represented with the vibration signal 116a.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
