PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification facilitation material capable of conducting a purification treatment by bioremediation of oil contaminated soil in a relatively short term even when the soil is acidic and has low air permeability such as Kunigami-maaji and a purification treatment method using the same.SOLUTION: There are provided a purification facilitation material for being mixed with oil contaminated soil during microorganism purification of the soil, the purification facilitation material being Ryukyu limestone or a fracture article thereof, and a purification treatment method for the oil contaminated soil by mixing the Ryukyu limestone or the fracture article with the oil contaminated soil in a weight ratio of 10 to 30%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
