PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a far-infrared reflection film excellent in thermal insulation property, film strength and surface conditions.SOLUTION: A far-infrared reflection film 103 includes a support 10 and a fibrous silver particle-containing layer 20 disposed on the support 10. The fibrous silver particle-containing layer 20 comprises fibrous silver particles and a sol-gel cured product obtained by hydrolysis and polycondensation of an alkoxide compound and a metal coupling agent having a functional group that can interact with the fibrous silver particles. The present invention also discloses a dispersion for forming the far-infrared reflection film 103, a method for manufacturing the far-infrared reflection film 103, a far-infrared reflection glass 111 and a window using the above film or glass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
