PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollution preventing agent, and a pollution preventing cosmetic or a pollution preventing skin external preparation including the same which are requested for the purpose of alleviation of skin damage by contaminants causing air pollution because a problem of air pollution becomes serious considering influence to the respiratory system and also adverse effect to the skin in recent years.;SOLUTION: A pollution preventing agent, a pollution preventing cosmetic and a pollution preventing skin external preparation including the same are realized by finding functions of a zinc salt and/or zinc complex of amino acids including: a function alleviating cytotoxicity by contaminants in an epidermic cell; and function suppressing excessive inducement of CYP1, COX-2, and IL-8.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
