PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas supply system capable of being flexibly adapted to various engines, or various operation states and request, in a gas supply system for a reciprocation piston internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A gas supply system has a gas inlet valve having a gas inlet nozzle, and the gas inlet nozzle is constituted to be disposed in a cylinder wall of a cylinder of the reciprocation piston internal combustion engine, so that a fuel gas can be supplied to a combustion space of the cylinder by the gas inlet nozzle in an installed state. The gas inlet nozzle is connected detachably to the gas inlet valve and replaceably to the cylinder wall, and a nozzle axis of the gas inlet nozzle is disposed at a prescribed angle with respect to a valve axis of the gas inlet valve, so that a fuel gas can be injected into the combustion space at a prescribed angle different from zero with respect to a radial direction and/or axial direction of the cylinder in an operating state and the installed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
