PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anaerobic ammonia oxidation treatment method and apparatus capable of stably holding a certain amount or more of microorganisms in a tank and capable of performing long-term stable treatment while suppressing membrane contamination, and to provide a method of denitrifying organic waste water using the apparatus.SOLUTION: An anaerobic ammonia oxidation treatment method includes an anaerobic ammonia oxidation process of generating nitrogen gas by bringing a liquid to be treated 6 containing ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen into contact with anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria in anaerobic conditions. The process includes generating a gas-liquid mixed flow in an anaerobic ammonia oxidation tank 7 by immersing a separation membrane module 9, which separates and extracts treated water 8 from the anaerobic ammonia oxidation tank 7 storing the liquid to be treated 6 containing the anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria and carriers on which the anaerobic ammonia oxidizing bacteria adhere, into the liquid to be treated 6 to separate and extract the treated water 8, pulling out nitrogen gas generated in the anaerobic ammonia oxidation tank 7, and circulating the pulled-out nitrogen gas into the anaerobic ammonia oxidation tank 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
