PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand value prediction apparatus and demand value prediction method capable of accurately predicting integral electric energy.SOLUTION: A demand value prediction apparatus for predicting integral electric energy to be supplied from a system in a predetermined period comprises: a demand electric energy acquisition unit for acquiring demand electric energy supplied from the system; and a prediction unit for predicting the integral electric energy. The prediction unit calculates a statistic of integral electric energy in the predetermined period from integral electric energy in the same time zone in the past; also calculates a difference between integral electric energy until the present time based on the demand electric energy acquired by the demand electric energy acquisition unit and integral electric energy until the present time based on the statistic; and predicts the integral electric energy to be supplied from the system, on the basis of the integral electric energy until the present time based on the demand electric energy, the statistic of integral electric energy in the predetermined period, and temporal change of the difference.
