PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a laminate obtained by firmly bonding a resin film excellent in heat resistance, low water absorption and electrical characteristics and a metal foil; a flexible printed substrate using the laminate; a method for producing the laminate; a method for producing a surface-modified film useful as a production material for the laminate: or the like.;SOLUTION: There are provided: a method for producing a surface-modified film for modifying a crystalline resin film mainly composed of a crystalline cyclic olefin resin by irradiating a light beam having a central wavelength of less than 180 nm on at least one surface of the crystalline resin film using an excimer lamp; a laminate obtained by using the surface-modified film obtained by the production method; a flexible printed substrate using the laminate; and a method for producing the laminate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
