PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a climbing plants cultivation device and a climbing plants cultivation method which are capable of cultivating climbing plants in a plant factory efficiently and at high productivity.SOLUTION: In climbing plants cultivation in which climbing plants 10 are cultivated, a climbing plants cultivation device 1 is used, in which the device comprises a cultivation bed 4 and a rack 2 having a plurality of raising shelves 3 in a vertical direction, and has a configuration that each raising shelf 3 is provided with: a vine support part 6 which supports vines 10a of climbing plants 10 growing from a cultivation bed 4 by allowing the vines to creep; and a lighting device 5 which irradiates the leaves 11 growing from the vine 10a supported by the vine support part 6 with light. The vine support parts 6 and the lighting devices 5 are arranged in an alternately laminated manner in a vertical direction, in which the vines 10a are supported by the vine support parts 6, and the leaves 11 growing from the vines 10a are irradiated with light from the lighting devices 5 to promote photosynthesis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
