PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission device capable of compensating for a nonlinear distortion while suppressing a circuit scale.SOLUTION: A photoreceiver includes a division section, a control section and a compensation section. The division section divides an optical transmission signal into a plurality of frequency components with a preset divided number and divided bandwidth. The control section controls divided number and divided bandwidth on the basis of transmission line information of an optical transmission line for transmitting an optical transmission signal and signal information of the optical transmission signal.
