PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static water cylinder for an oil leakage detection device, which is capable of suppressing rippling on a liquid surface and reducing error detection of the oil leakage detection device.;SOLUTION: A static water cylinder A comprises a cylindrical body 20 that is provided in a pit P and has an oil leakage detection device D inserted therein. On a side surface of the cylindrical body 20, a liquid passage hole 21 is formed longitudinally. The liquid passage hole consists of a plurality of small holes arranged at intervals. At least one hole is provided in a horizontal plane of any height from the upper end to the lower end in a range of formation of the liquid passage hole. Oil floating on a liquid surface can penetrate into the cylindrical body 20 through the liquid passage hole, and oil leakage can be detected by the oil leakage detection device D inserted in the cylindrical body 20. Rippling on a liquid surface in the cylindrical body 20 can be suppressed to allow an oil layer to be a stationary state, and thus error detection of the oil leakage detection device D can be reduced.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
