PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic cable system in which baking can be performed with a simple configuration even after assembled at the site and baking and vacuum drawing execution time can be remarkably shortened, and also to provide a baking method of the cryogenic cable system.SOLUTION: A cryogenic cable system includes: a cryogenic cable 20 having a heat-insulated tube with a double tube structure in the outer periphery of a cable core; and a plurality of terminal units 30, 40 in which each of both terminal parts of the cryogenic cable 20 is introduced to constitute a cable connection part. The heat-insulated tube 22 includes an inner tube 221 having conductivity and an outer tube 222 having conductivity and a vacuum layer is formed between the inner tube 221 and the outer tube 222. At one end of the heat-insulated tube 22, a first conductive part 24 is provided which electrically connects the inner tube 221 and the outer tube 222. At the other end of the heat-insulated tube 22, a second conductive part 26 is provided which is electrically connected to the inner tube 221 and connected to the other end of the outer tube 222 via an insulator 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
