PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isocyanurate-oxazolidone resin whose mechanical test characteristics do not significantly deteriorate after a long-term heat resistance test.SOLUTION: A raw material for an isocyanurate-oxazolidone resin is provided which comprises an aromatic isocyanate (A), an aliphatic isocyanate (B), an epoxy resin (C), and an imidazole compound (D) and in which a weight ratio (A):(B) of the aromatic isocyanate (A) and the aliphatic isocyanate (B) is in the range of 90:10 to 50:50; a molar ratio (I/E) of an isocyanate group in the aromatic isocyanate (A) and the aliphatic isocyanate (B) relative to an epoxy group (E) in the epoxy resin (C) is in the range of 2.5 to 15. The isocyanurate-oxazolidone resin is also provided which is obtained by heat curing the above raw material and has such a high heat resistance that the glass transition temperature thereof is 250°C or more, and has excellent long-term heat resistance under a high temperature environment of 200°C or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
