PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator hoistway internal dimension measuring device which is capable of measuring dimensions inside an elevator hoistway relatively easily or relatively quickly, an elevator hoistway internal dimension measuring controller, and an elevator hoistway internal dimension measuring method.SOLUTION: Provided is an elevator hoistway internal dimension measuring device which, according to an embodiment, comprises: a distance measuring instrument; an imaging device; and a control device. The distance measuring instrument has a first laser distance meter installed on a moving object moving inside the elevator hoistway for irradiating inner walls of the elevator hoistway with a laser beam. The imaging device has a first camera installed on the moving object for imaging the inside of the elevator hoistway. An arithmetic device applies arithmetic processing to distance data obtained from the distance measuring instrument and to image data obtained from the imaging device. A position calculation device estimates motion of the moving object on the basis of the image data, and calculates a position of the moving object inside the elevator hoistway on the basis of the distance data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
