PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by substantially reducing the labor of positioning in adding a connection structure to be connected with another member to a structural material (e.g. support pillar) composed of an extrusion material e.g. aluminum and suppress significant increase of part costs even when the number of connection parts increases.;SOLUTION: As a connection tool 101 for an extrusion material to be fitted to a support pillar 11 constituting, along a longitudinal direction, a groove 31 of an undercut cross sectional shape which makes a pair of protrusions 33 face each other in a frontage 32, there is provided a sheet metal-made stem 111, with such a width dimension as to be retained by the protrusions 33 and the same length dimension as that of the support pillar, to be engaged in the groove 31, and a connection part(s) 121 is formed at one or more predetermined positions of the stem 111.
