PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a device for positioning at least one print bar in a printing position in an ink type printer so that the print bar can be accurately positioned in the printing device.;SOLUTION: Two drive and guide units AF are provided for one print bar 1, and each of the drive and guide units includes a guide means 5 and a positioning plate 8. The print bar 1 includes a print bar storage portion 11 provided with a positioning pin 9 for each drive and guide unit. The guide means and the print bar storage portion 11 are formed so that, when the print bar storage portion of the print bar is placed on the guide means of the drive and guide unit in a floating support manner, the print bar is centered and locked in the drive and guide unit after the guide means is adjusted to the printing position, while the positioning pin is engagingly fitted into the positioning plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
