PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a probability that an unauthorized file provider detects monitoring by adjusting a monitoring cycle of the unauthorized file.;SOLUTION: A file monitoring cycle control system includes: a monitoring device which extracts a uniform resource locator for identifying an arrangement place of an unauthorized file and monitors a file arranged in the uniform resource locator; and a file monitoring cycle control device which controls a monitoring cycle of the file arranged in the uniform resource locator. The file monitoring cycle control device includes: a counting section which detects a transmission of an instruction including the uniform resource locator to a server and counts the number of transmissions; and a setting section which sets the monitoring cycle of the file identified by the uniform resource locator according to the number of transmissions. The monitoring device acquires the file arranged in the uniform resource locator according to the monitoring cycle set by the setting section, and extracts presence or absence of the file and a difference of the file.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
