PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping nozzle of a molten metal plating apparatus, and a wiping position control device of the molten metal plating apparatus which are capable of reducing a gas consumption amount, edge overcoat and splash and adjusting a plating thickness at high accuracy.SOLUTION: A wiping nozzle comprises: a thin plate 20 which is inserted from an inlet of a lip part 21 to the inside of the lip part 21 from both end parts in a plate width direction of the lip part 21 to the inside by a predetermined distance, seals gas jet in an inserted portion, and movable in a lip plate width direction; and a rope 17 which extends in a lip plate width direction while tracking the movement of the thin plate 20 so as to seal gas jet in a predetermined range, by which a gas consumption amount, edge overcoat and splash are reduced and a plating thickness is adjusted at high accuracy.
