PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator capable of appropriately reproducing a body odor, as an odor generating from a surface of skin of a person, and objectively assessing the odor, and provide means capable of objectively and appropriately assessing deodorization effects of the body odor, such as a cosmetic, fragrance and cleaning agent, by a simple operation.;SOLUTION: A body odor determination indicator to be used as an indicator for determination of the body odor includes diacetyl. The body odor determination indicator, where the body odor is an odor generated from the surface of the skin, (the indicator further includes a 6-10C fatty acid, where a body odor determination indicator in which the body odor is the head part odor, is excluded), an assessment method of deodorization effects of the body odor using the indicator, an assessment method of a deodorant, and a determination method of the body odor are disclosed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
