DETECTION DEVICE AND METHOD OF SEEING-EYE DOG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not a dog is a seeing-eye dog surely based on an image.;SOLUTION: A detection device comprises: a face image recognition part 10 for recognizing a face image of an animal from an image imaged by a camera 3; a handle recognition part 12 for recognizing a handle 12 connecting the animal and an accompanying person from the image recognized by the face image recognition part 10; a seeing-eye dog detection determination part 13 for determining whether or not, a dog is a seeing-eye dog 2 based on the recognition result of the handle recognition part 12; and an image surrounding search part 11 for searching the surrounding of the image recognized by the face image recognition part 10. The handle recognition part 12 recognizes a handle 4 connected to a harness based on the search result of the image surrounding search part 11, and identifies the seeing-eye dog 2 and a dog which is not the seeing-eye dog 2, based on presence/absence of the handle 4.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
