PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflammation suppression method for surely relieving inflammatory diseases such as glomerulonephritis by irradiation of light.;SOLUTION: The inflammation suppression method irradiates an affected part of a mammal other than human with light having a wavelength of 420 nm-1000 nm emitted from a light source to suppress inflammation in the affected part, the irradiation of the light being performed so as to satisfy the following relations (A) and (B): (A) The irradiation energy E(J) expressed by P×t is 200 or more, where P(W) is the output power of the light source and t (seconds) is the irradiation time, and (B) the temperature rise ΔT(°C) after elapse of t (seconds) in the affected part is 0.01 or more and 1.5 or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
