PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UV curable coating composition excellent in transparency, wear resistance and weather resistance and a coating film formation method.SOLUTION: A UV curable resin composition comprises (a) 100 pts. wt. of a urethane acrylate having 3-9 acryloyl groups in the molecule, (b) 1-20 pts. wt. of an acetophenone-based photopolymerization initiator, (c) 0.5-15 pts. wt. of a phosphine oxide-based photopolymerization initiator, (d) 1-20 pts. wt. of a UV absorber and (e) 1-20 pts. wt. of a photo-stabilizer.
